Lee and I get to attend a Zone Conference of our choosing every 6 weeks. This one was held in Laie where the temple is located (as well as BYU Hawaii and the Polynesian Cultural Center). Here we are with our Mission President, President Stephen Peterson and his darling wife Sister Cathy Peterson. They really are remarkable people and we hate to see them go home in July. It was been an honor to get to know them!

My friend Judy Mathews was maybe at this conference, but it was with her daughter who has just come to BYU Hawaii to school and met the Peterson's, heard them speak and said they met you too. I had told her to go to the mission office where you would be at before they left for Hawaii, but it worked out to see you all there. She really liked hearing Elder Peterson speak. Now she's planning on coming back to Hawaii with her other daughters so they can have the special experience that she and her daughter Amy had. I'm so excited for them. She said she couldn't afford it, would have to take out loans, or do whatever, go without new carpet etc. but wanted them to see Hawaii. In fact she said I want to move there. I said, "Yes! that's what I've been saying since the first time I ever visited, too"
