Lee and I attended a temple session one Saturday at the Laie Temple. I kept hoping to see Grandma & Grandpa Barrus! Afterwards Lee went snorkeling.
Such a spectacular day at the Laie Temple; this temple though very small is really a jewel - inside and outside.
The grounds and flowers on the Temple grounds are pretty amazing. The size of this blossom was just huge.
We went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory - YES AGAIN, and had some time to kill so we walked through the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki.
All the Zone Leaders of our Mission attended the Laie Temple with our Mission President Dalton! What wonderful young men!
This is a cute video of some of our standing Elders singing. From left to right is Elder Lunt, Elder Moncur, Elder Moala, and Elder Biggs. They sound pretty good if you ask me!
My seashell collection!
One Sunday afternoon we walked along the beach to see the Dolphins; they are so amazing!
We hiked up to a lighthouse hoping to see Whales . . . we didn't.
We went out to dinner with the Tanners at my favorite place: Duke's on Waikiki Beach - great friends, great food, great sunset!
Sunday morning breakfast with the Tanners before heading over to Church. Omelets, and fresh fruit (pineapple & papaya!)
With Mission President Dalton at the Mataele's dinner that they have monthly for the missionaries. They put on quite a spread of food.
We ate dinner one evening and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset ever - as you will see in the next photo! Just breathe taking! And the company was pretty great too!
You won't find a more beautiful setting for a sunset than here in Hawaii.
Even though they posted warning signs about jellyfish, it did not slow anyone down from snorkeling.
Went to a temple session at the Laie Temple; would have been fun to see Grandma & Grandpa Barrus there!
We spent some time with our good friends the Tanners . . . went out to eat a lot, snorkeling, Laie Temple, site seeing. It's was great to have a little taste of home come to us!
