Saturday, February 27, 2010 Our First P-Day or as we will recall this day - our first Preparation Day for the BIG TSUNAMI

This morning we were awaken by sirens sounding off in the streets and the hotel’s PA’s system alerting everyone of an approaching Tsunami because Chile was hit by a 8.8 earthquake during the night. The Tsunami was to hit the shores of the Big Island around 11:05 a.m. and Oahu at 11:30 a.m. so we quickly located a grocery store, but had to get in line outside to wait for access. Once inside more long lines, but we did get food and water so that we could wait for the impending disaster!
