At Pali Point we had a view looking out towards the distant east coastline. We actually ran into a couple we met on a cruise several years ago (Albert & Diana). We walked back to our car and had a picnic of Dorito Chips, Dates, & Orero Cookies! Then we both fell asleep and took a nap with the sun shining and a cool breeze coming through the car windows.

After a few hours of waiting we could tell that this was "blowing over" so we ventured back into Honolulu (about an hour before the official "all's clear" alert) - the city was deserted, but people are now coming back. It was a most interesting event to say the least. Welcome to Hawaii!!! The good news is . . . WE LIVE ANOTHER DAY!
